Celebrating Five Years of Community and Connection
Five years ago, Info Latinos was born out of a need to offer tailored support to newly arrived Latin Americans in the UK. Ever since, it has been a source of unwavering support to over 500 people, creating an uplifting environment where Latin Americans can thrive.
In honour of this amazing milestone, we invite you to join us on our five-year anniversary fundraising walk: “Building Bridges.”This slogan represents everything Info Latinos stands for — connecting cultures, people and building community.

The Power of Volunteering
Over the past five years, Info Latinos has played a crucial role in supporting Latin Americans to feel at home in the UK. This would not have been possible without our 250 volunteers, who have delivered an incredible 11,440 mentoring hours.
It has proven to be beneficial for both the mentee and mentor — building friendships, exchanging knowledge and strengthening our community. Participants have shared that they felt less alone, improved their language skills and gained confidence in navigating their goals.
For some, it has become a full circle moment, with participants becoming volunteers themselves. Their lived experience makes the mentoring programme even more valuable.
Others have given back by providing Inspiration Sessions and digital skills workshops.🌟 The power of volunteering is endless!
Building Spaces, Sharing Knowledge
Our achievements don’t stop there! We’ve created safe and accessible spaces for participants and volunteers through our seven WhatsApp groups — places to share advice, events and knowledge.
In the last two years alone, we’ve organised 80 events, from networking sessions and workshops to bilingual meet-ups — fostering integration and enriching the UK’s cultural tapestry.
Collaboration has been at the heart of this journey, partnering with 16 organisations across areas ranging from LGBTQ+ inclusion to employment pathways. These achievements tell a story of continued connection — a community building bridges every single day.
Building Bridges Fundraising Walk
To celebrate how far we’ve come — and to look ahead to the future — we’ll be hosting our Building Bridges Fundraising Walk on 29th November at 1:30 PM.
Trafalgar Square – meeting point and welcome (group photo).
Victoria Embankment Gardens – riverside walk through an iconic green space.
City of London Dragon Boundary Marks – a symbolic point representing “crossing into
new opportunities.”
Blackfriars Bridge – the highlight of the walk, crossing the bridge as a living metaphor of our theme Building Bridges.
The Rockingham Arms (JD Wetherspoon) – final stop, where we’ll close with gratitude and a social gathering.
Donations through our JustGiving page are greatly appreciated, helping us continue to expand our community and build on our success.
Together, We Build Bridges
Let’s come together, as we have done for the past five years, to celebrate each other and this great milestone.
Info Latinos is truly the epitome of community — where people support one another and grow together.
This would not have been possible without our 500 participants, who continue to inspire us, and our 250 volunteers, who help mentees reach their potential and feel at home in the UK.
Let’s walk together, raise funds, uplift and celebrate one another, and most importantly — continue to build bridges.
